1. Ebay Ebay is a great way to generate traffic to your web site. You can do this one of two ways. You can purchase an eBay classifieds ad to promote your offer, or you can use the regular auction feature to drive traffic to your web site. Try placing a link on your “about me” page to the website that you are looking to drive traffic to. If you are selling a physical product and are sending something through the mail, you can always include your web address on the receipt or on a special “thank you for purchasing” note. If you can afford it and in order to get the most traffic out of Ebay, you should place a featured auction ad. This will enable you to generate the most traffic.

2. Pay Per Click Pay-per-click marketing is also a great way to drive a lot of traffic to your website. You do want to be careful, and make sure that your offer converts, otherwise you will spend a lot of money and won’t see any profit. Instead, you will end up losing money. However, when done successfully, pay-per-click is a good way to quickly drive targeted traffic to your website.

3. Free Classified Sites Sites like Craiglist, Backpage, Kijiji and Gumtree are really great for getting quick traffic. I once promoted a financial website on Craiglist and earned nearly $30 per day in Adsense revenue alone. Since then, there have been changes to Craigslist and it is a bit harder to advertise there, but it’s still worth the effort. Some people suggest that you can post successfully if you don’t place an url in your ad, instead, allow interested individuals to email you and then email them back your website address. To find a more complete list of effective and free classified sites, do a search on Google. Simply perform a quick Internet search for “classified sites similar to Craiglist” to get a more exhaustive list. You can drive a lot of traffic this way. Be sure to take advantage of free classified sites.

4. Social Network Sites Social networking sites are another great way to drive traffic to your site. They also have a duel purpose. They also provide you with valuable back links that will allow you to get good search engine rankings. Social network sites such as Yahoo Answers are another type of social network site that can bring you visitors even though you get no credit for back links. Instead answer a question and place your website in the reference line and drive visitors that way.

5. Article Marketing I can’t say enough about article marketing. This is because it is a free and a simple way to drive traffic to your website. Some of the very best article directories will drive a few hundred page views to your article without your article even being ranked in the search engines. So writing articles is a great way to a bring in extra traffic.

6. Torrents Writing a free report or using a PLR report, which you have purchased, and uploading it to free torrent sites is a fantastic method to secure viral traffic. Remember to add your website address to the report and add affiliate links throughout the report to make extra money.

These are just a few quick, easy and effective ways to generate a ton of traffic to your website. If you combine them and consistently apply them, you will find your site receiving a lot of visitors and if you have a good offering you should experience a big jump in sales and additional income.
