Niche marketing is a way to market your product to people who would be interested. But people who do niche marketing, think that they should market their product in order to make money. That is wrong. Niche marketing shouldn’t be about your product. It should be about you.
The right way to niche market is to sell yourself, not your product. You have to contribute to your niche. Be a master of what your selling, and contribute! Contribution is key to niche marketing. Show them free stuff, and reliable websites. When they realize that your a person that they can go to, that is where the money is going to be made.
Market yourself in your niche. So how can you do this on myspace? Simple. Very simple. Myspace makes just way too simple. They put their niches in something called groups. You click on groups and find a group that you think would be your best possible pool of prospects. I suggest that you make a list of the 10 groups that you think would be your best market place. Make sure that your group has a fair amount of people.
Once you’ve found your 10 groups, join them and begin talking. Create discussions about a major problem in the industry. So let’s say that you joined a poker group, type a bulletin and write about how to tell someone is lying. When people read it, they’ll start talking about. It doesn’t matter if you get positive or negative feedback on your bulletin. Just as long as you’re getting noticed. Get noticed and people will start networking with you. And once they realize that your a valuable source, they’ll buy your products. But don’t push your products onto them! That’s bad! If they ask where they should buy something, then can you tell them about your product! Now you just made a sale!
